It had to happen one
year and, in these times of economic gloom, our show Sunday was singled
out to be the wettest day of the year so far.
This had a dampening effect on attendance and the number of visitors
arriving on bikes was understandably down, with many of our attendees
choosing the comparative comfort of four wheels instead. Once at the
show the benefit of having most of the exhibits under cover has never
been more obvious.
However, notwithstanding the reduced turnout, the show was deemed
a great success by all who attended and we are very heartened
by the number of
complimentary messages that we have received. We would take this opportunity
to genuinely thank all the attendees for their unswerving support and
we look forward to bigger and better things for 2009.
