Having just about dried out our clothes and our sense of humour after
the drenching at last year's show, it was with more than a little nervousness
that our committee started to set up for this year's show on Thursday
October 1st. The skies were grey and the mood was dominated by weather
forecasts and gloom.
But, our fears were unfounded and Sunday the 4th dawned fair with clear
skies followed by a day of almost unbroken sunshine. The turnout was
excellent with potentially our highest attendance ever. We were particularly
pleased to see the number of accompanied youngsters under 14 who were
able to benefit from their free admission.
Our sincere thanks, as ever, must go to the everybody who supports us
with special thanks to the many specialist clubs who attend every year.
The standard of the exhibits continues to demonstrate the devotion of
the clubs and individuals and their attention to detail.
Finally we must thank our numerous loyal sponsors with particular thanks
to our main sponsor Custom Bikes of Troston.
We look forward to seeing you all again on October 3rd 2010 and remember
to bring your friends and family.
