Who would have thought
that with all the rain and flooding
that had occurred during this summer, that we had any chance of a dry
show this year. Well thankfully we were wrong!! The Thursday before
the show, we descended onto the showground in glorious sunshine to
start work on the preparations, and thankfully this set the
trend for the whole weekend....
Early on the Sunday
morning, still under the cover of darkness, the last of the
exhibitors, traders and entertainment arrived. This was
followed by
the first rays of sunshine which raised everyone's hopes of a great
day. The gates opened and soon the show
was buzzing with activity. It was great to see so many people having
a good time, especially after all the hard work that everyone had
put in. And here is where the committee would like to express a sincere
thanks
to the
many helpers who gave much of their own time to assist with the running
of the show, both on the day and for the preceding weeks.
We've put together
a few photographs from the show, to try and capture a feel for the
day. Hopefully, they will bring back fond memories for
those that attended. Finally, The CCMC would like to thank everyone
who came and made this years show such a great success, and we look
forward to
seeing
all of you
again next year at Trinity Park
on the 5th October
2008.
